3i's Multi-Line Sharing Switch (MLSS) allows a company to share the minimal quantity of telephone lines required to support the maximum number of industry standard telephone (IST) devices. An IST is any type of telecommunications device that works on a standard telephone company telephone line, such as: modems, fax machines, fax/modems, credit card terminals, etc. The MLSS can save a company hundreds to thousands of dollars per year in telephone costs and reoccuring monthly line charges. 3i offers three versions of the MLSS. Two plug and play versions are factory preprogrammed for most applications - no programming, software or computer network is required. The programmable MLSS model provides flexibility in call handling and call routing.
